I want my two hours back

I just got done watching the two hour premier of the new season of "Heroes" and I have just one question; WHAT THE FUCK did they do to this series?

I've watched season one twice now, on its first run and then on DVD, and I just watched season two this past weekend in anticipation of the debut tonight and I loved both seasons.  But this season starts off right where season two stopped yet all of the characters, their motivations, their personalities, everything has changed.

The only thing I can compare it to is the second season of "Dark Angel" where they totally re-imagined the series and killed it.  Quickly.  With most shows that I enjoy I'm willing to give them some leeway but the total transformation of this show is almost too much to take.

I'm actually typing this as the show is still on, it's about 10:15 so we're just into the second hour of the premier, and I'm just getting more and more angry with each scene.  So far the only two characters that haven't appeared to be completely unrecognizable from the previous season are Hiro and Parkman.  Possibly Elle and her father as well, but we've only just seen them at this point.

It's so completely bizarre that it's almost indescribable.  I'm going to wait at least till next week but I gotta tell you, I'm severely disappointed in the premiere.  If this is what the writer's strike begat, the lot of them should be out on their ear, fired.  Because they're obviously still pissed about something cause so far they're phoning it in.

And don't even get me started on the new season of "CSI: Miami."  I'm done with that show.
